Actress Sriparna Roy joins the cast of Gaatchora

Actress Sriparna Roy, who was recently seen in the newly launched show Mukut, has bagged a new show. She has joined the cast of Gaatchora, starring Gourab Chatterjee in lead role. Yes, you read that right. After a controversial exit from her previous show Mukut, Sriparna Roy has bagged a key role in the popular ongoing on Star Jalsha.

A glimpse of Sriparna Roy was seen in the recent episode of Gaatchora. Sriparna Roy has been roped in the role of Rukmini Sengupta in the show.

Gaatchora, one of the popular shows of Star Jalshla used to come under the top 5 on the TRP rating chart at a time, but it loses its popularity day by day as its lead actress Solanki Roy left the show.

However, the makers of the show are all set to add some new twists by introducing Sriparna Roy to the show. The popular actress is likely to play an important character opposite Riddhiman Singha Roy aka Gourab Chatterjee in the show. 

Speaking about Sriparna Roy, she quit her previous show saying that ''sometimes we don't get what we want. There is no malice. Some terms and things are beyond personal relationships. There were difficulties on my part, they also had difficulties which forced me to take such a decision. I have accepted this phenomenon as a part of life. I wish a huge success for Mukut and looking forward to working with this person in the coming days''.
