Bringing real-life incidents to the big screen is not new for Arindam Sil. The acclaimed director has already brought two true events to the big screen. The first was the real-life hanging of Dhananjaya Chatterjee, who was convicted in the 2004 Hetal Parekh rape and murder case. In 2017, he made a film called 'Dhananjaya' with Anirban Bhattacharya and Mimi Chakraborty based on Hetal Parekh rape and murder case. Later, Arindam also made a film on Mahasweta Devi's life titled Mahananda.

And now, Arindam Sil's all set to bring yet another real-life incident on the screen based on the Surupa Guha-Indranath Guha case.

Going by the latest report, Arifin Shuvo, one of the popular Bangladeshi actors will be seen in this film which will also have Sauraseni Maitra, Ankita Chakraborty, and Indrasish Roy in pivotal roles. Besides these stars, actress Arunima Ghosh will be seen playing a key role in the film.
