Debayan Bhattacharya to pair up with Rooqma Ray in 'Roopsagore Moner Manush'

Actress Rooqma Ray is all set to entertain with her new show 'Roopsagore Moner Manush' which is slated to be telecast from 3rd July on Sun Bangla. Ever since the announcement of the show, fans are eagerly waiting for this as they will finally see their favorite diva Rooqma Ray on screen again.

As the days ticked down, the makers of the show remained tight-lipped, keeping viewers in suspense as fans were curious about who will be seen playing the male lead opposite Rooqma Roy in the show. And finally, the time has come. The channel has officially released a new promo of the show featuring the male lead.

Debutant Debayan Bhattacharya, who has been a part of several music videos, will be seen playing the male lead opposite Rooqma Ray in 'Roopsagore Moner Manush' on Sun Bangla.

While Rooqma will play Purna, Debayan will play her love interest in the show. In the show, Purna, a dutiful girl who lives in a police quarter with her small family and who follows her parents' ideals, and fulfilling parents' dreams is the only goal in her life. On the other hand, Debayan's character belongs to a rich family where senior actress Anjana Basu will play his reel mother.

The new TV show 'Roopsagore Moner Manush' is inspired by the popular Tamil TV daily soap Anandha Raagam, starring Anusha Prathap and Alagappan in lead roles. The story involves Eashwari (Anusha) and Azhagar (Alagappan), Unfortunate events force an ambitious Eashwari and a school dropout Azhagar to tie the knot. Can this odd couple turn their marriage into a happily ever after? This is the crux of the story.
