Rituparna Sengupta and Kaushik Sen, known for their powerpack performance on screen, have teamed up for a new movie. Director Pathikrit Basu, who directed Dev and Prosenjit Chatterjee-starrer film Kacher Manush, has joined hands with Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee this time for his new film 'Dabaru', featuring Rituparna Sengupta and Kaushik Sen in lead roles.
Based on the Chess game, Pathikrit Basu's film 'Dabaru' will also have Dipankar De, Chiranjit Chakraborty, Shankar Chakraborty, Biswanath Basu and Sanghasri Sinha Mitra in pivotal roles.
Kaushik Sen, who recently wrapped up the shoot of his show Godhuli Alap, will be seen playing a pivotal role alongside Rituparna Sengupta in this film.

Speaking about the film, it revolves around chess, and a kid who dreams of becoming a chess champion. Rituparna Sengupta is likely to play the kid's mother where Kaushik Sen will be seen as the coach in this film.
It is known that if everything goes according to the plan, the shooting of this film will start from July.
