Hoichoi's new series, 'Dugdugi' is all set to take the audience on an entertaining roller-coaster ride where Anirban Chakrabarti will be seen playing the lead role. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the comedy-drama series 'Dugdugi' starts streaming from 28th July on Hoichoi.
Based on Ullash Mullick’s story, 'Dugdugi' series also stars Biswanath Basu, Rayati Bhattacharya, Lokenath Dey, and Sreya Bhattacharyya in pivotal roles.
Speaking about the story, it follows a middle-class man, Abanish (played by Anirban Chakrabarti). The story revolves around Abanish's marital affairs. However, the plot suddenly twists when he discovers his wife is missing! A chaotic chain of events follows suit, making things hilarious and comical. Now faced with this predicament, what steps Abanish takes and how he finds his wife is the crux of the story.

Anirban Chakrabarti is also starring in Joydeep Mukherjee's upcoming thriller movie Aparichito, co-starring Ritwick Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha in pivotal roles. While Ritwick Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha will play the lead pair, Anirban Chakrabarti will be seen as a cop in the film, produced by Eskay Movies.
