Earlier we reported that Honey Bafna, who was last seen in Sohag Jol serial, has bagged a new show which will air on a leading entertainment channel. It was known the 'Sohag Jol' actor will soon be seen playing the male lead on Sun Bangla's upcoming show. And now reports suggest that Tumpa Ghosh, who was last seen in 'Tin Shaktir Aadhar-Trishul' will be seen playing the female lead opposite Honey Bafna in the show.

If sources are to be believed Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh will be featured in Sun Bangla's brand-new show 'Shyama', where Tumpa Ghosh will play the female lead and Honey Bafna will play her love interest. Apart from these two young artists, the show will feature some popular faces from the industry.

Honey Bafna did not comment on the speculation when he was asked about it. He just said ''I don't know what is wrong with such speculation? Such rumors about actor-actresses are not new in the industry.''

Both Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh are familiar faces to Bengali serial lovers. While Honey Bafna became a household name with his performances in 'Bokul Kotha', 'Prothoma Kadambini', and 'Gramer Rani Binapani', Tumpa Ghosh made her mark in the industry and won audience's hearts with her amazing screen presence in 'Bedeni Moluar Kotha', 'Agnijal', 'Nishir Daak', 'Rangiye Diye Jao'.
