We have seen a number of popular Tollywood actors entertaining Hindi audiences by playing prominent roles in Films and Web series. Actors like Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata, Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Swastika Mukherjee, and Paoli Dam have been a part of various Hindi projects. And now, Madhumita Sarcar has been added to the list. Yes, the popular actress who became a household name by playing Pakhi in 'Bojhena Se Bojhena' is all set to make her debut in Bollywood.
It was rumored for a long time that Madhumita Sarcar has been offered various projects from Mumbai. Madhumita also admitted it at that time in an interview. She said, ''Several projects have been discussed. But I don't want to say anything until it is confirmed.'' And finally, the time has come.
As per the latest report, Madhumita Sarcar will soon be seen in a Hindi film titled Farz, directed by Preetam Mukherjee, known for Rish and Dr. Gangulyr Diary. Actor Tanuj Virwani, known for 'Purani Jeans', 'One Night Stand', 'Inside Edge' and 'Illegal - Justice, Out of Order' will be seen playing the male lead in the film. Apart from Madhumita Sarcar and Tanuj Virwani, the film also stars Yashpal Sharma, Govind Namdev, and Mushtaq Khan in pivotal roles.

Talking about her first Hindi movie, Madhumita Sarcar said, ''As a Bengali, it will be a challenging role for me. Although it is a Hindi film but most of the dialogues are in Bhojpuri and Bihari accents, so I am currently preparing myself for it.''
The director will start shooting for this film from August, this year.

Meanwhile, Madhumita Sarcar-Starrer film Cheeni 2 is scheduled to release in theaters on 11th August where Aparajita Adhya will play another key role alongside Madhumita. Apart from Aparajita Adhya and Madhumita Sarcar, Cheeni 2 also stars Anirban Chakraborti and Soumya Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
