Rukmini Maitra is on a roll these days as her kitty includes various interesting films like 'Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya', Boomerang, and 'Binodiini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan'. Before the release of these interesting experimental films, Rukmini Maitra has signed another film based on the novel “Yajnaseni” by Smt.Pratibha Ray, which will be directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, who also directed 'Binodiini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan'. The actress herself shared the news on her social media handles.
Taking to social media, Rukmini Maitra shared the news along with a motion poster for Ram Kamal Mukherjee's 'Draupadi' where she will be seen in the titular role.

It's a joint venture of Pramod Films and Dev Entertainment Ventures, which also producing Rukmini Maitra's 'Binodiini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan'.
Talking about this new venture, Rukmini Maitra said ''It feels good to be able to work with Ram Kamal again. It also helped me a lot to ease myself into a character that is very challenging to portray on screen. There are benefits to working with a friend, right?''
Rukmini Maitra is busy these days promoting her upcoming film 'Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya', co-starring Dev and Ambarish Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the detective thriller will hit the cinema halls this 11th August.
Rukmini also started shooting for Souvik Kundu's film 'Boomerang' where she will be seen opposite Superstar Jeet for the first time.
