Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy teamed up for a web series

Actress Sandipta Sen, who was recently seen in Hoichoi's series Noshtoneer, has bagged yet another show of the same platform where popular TV actor Koushik Roy will be seen alongside her. A few days ago, there was a buzz in the industry that Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy have teamed up for a Television show though Sandipta Sen denied the rumors saying that she has no immediate plan to return to television. 

And now, it is known that Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy have teamed up for a web series which will be directed by Aditi Roy. Yes, Aditi Roy, who directed Sandipta's previous show Noshtoneer, has cast Sandipta again for the second season of Bodhon. Yes, it's true. Following the back-to-back success of Bodhon and Noshtoneer, Aditi Roy is planning for making the second season of Bodhon where Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy will be seen playing the lead roles. Apart from them, actor Indrasish Roy, who is also a popular face in both TV and OTT, will be seen playing an important role alongside Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy. 

The first season of Bodhon was a story of a college girl Shinjini (Ditipriya Roy), who gets raped. Her professor, Raka Sen (Sandipta), emerges as the only ray of hope at such a bleak time. It was a story of one woman standing up for another woman in a society where people mostly blame women for the crimes such as rape and all.

Probably, the director will bring another social message with Bodhon season 2 where Sandipta Sen will be the leading lady. If all goes well, Aditi Roy will start shooting for the series from this month.
