Actress Sweta Bhattacharya is on a roll these days as she has several interesting products including the women-centric series 'Nandini' in her kitty. And now it is known that the 'Projapoti' actress has bagged a romantic drama series which will be streaming on a brand-new OTT platform.
Filmmaker Arindam Chakraborty, known for 'Gate 2 Gether' and 'Aabar Nostonir', is coming up with a romantic drama series featuring Sweta Bhattacharya in the lead role. If sources are to be believed, actor Saurav Das will be seen playing the male lead in the series. Apart from these two, actress Alivia Sarkar will be seen playing another important role in the series.
Speaking about the series, it's a love triangle that follows an intense friendship between Saurav Das and Alivia Sarkar's characters. The story takes a turn when Sweta's character comes into their lives. It's all about friendship, love, and sacrifice.
The shooting of this web series has not started yet. Camellia Productions Pvt. Ltd, known for movies like Kiriti O Kalo Bhromor, Kishore Kumar Junior, Maayakumari, Tirandaj Shabor, Byomkesh Hotyamancha, Mitin Mashi and Jongole Mitin Mashi is bringing a brand-new OTT platform where the series will be streaming.
Talking about Sweta Bhattacharya, she is in a busy schedule these days not only for her projects but also for taking care of Rubel Das. Sweta Bhattacharya's boyfriend Rubel Das, who plays the male lead in 'Neem Phuler Modhu', met with a major accident while shooting an action sequence for his show a few days ago and broke both his ankles.
On the other hand, Saurav Das recently joined the cast of Souvik Kundu's upcoming film 'Boomerang', starring Superstar Jeet and Rukmini Maitra in lead roles. He is also starring in Raja Chanda's upcoming web series 'Picasso', where he will be seen opposite Srijla Guha.
