Popular Bengali TV actress Shruti Das, who has been a part of various shows like Trinayani, and Desher Maati, tied the know with her long-time boyfriend Swarnendu Samaddar, who is also a popular personality in the same industry. Shruti Das and Swarnendu Samaddar had a registry marriage last Sunday (July 9) night following some traditional rituals. The duo had to face trolling several times because of their huge age gap. However, Shruti Das never paid attention to the trollers and eventually married her love, Swarnendu Samaddar.

Interestingly, Swarnendu Samaddar is directing Zee Bangla's popular show Ranga Bou where Shruti Das plays the female lead opposite Gourab Roy Choudhary.
Shruti Das and Swarnendu Samaddar have known each other for a long time. Shruti Das and Swarnendu Samaddar started dating each other on sets of Trinayai, where Shruti Das played the female lead under Swarnendu's direction.
On the work front, Shruti Das became a household name for playing the female lead opposite Gourab Roy Choudhary in Trinayani. Later she bagged the female lead opposite Dibyojyoti Dutta in Leena Gangopadhyay's show Desher Maati.
