Bengali Television is all set to welcome another new drama series 'Shyama', starring Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh in lead roles. A few days ago, the makers of this show shared a promo, making a buzz among fans with a few interesting glimpses of this show. And now the brand-new show 'Shyama' is all set to entertain the audiences from 11th September, on a leading entertainment channel.
The new show 'Shyama', starring Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh in lead roles, starts from 11th September 2023 and will be telecast Monday to Sunday at 8 PM on the screen of Sun Bangla.
About the show
Speaking about the show, it follows Aritri, played by Tumpa Ghosh, who wants to spend her life worshiping Maa Kali. But her parents want her to get married as soon as possible. On the other hand, the promo shows Honey Bafna's character married to Aritri, hiding his ulterior motive. In the second promo, we see Aritri's husband trying to burn Aritri after performing some rituals with a priest. However, soon something unusual happens that extinguishes the fire in which Aritri's husband wanted to burn her to death.

Apart from Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh, the series also stars, Madhubani Goswami, Biswajit Chakraborty and Sudipta Banerjee in pivotal roles. While Tumpa Ghosh will play the female lead, Honey Bafna will play the male lead opposite Tumpa Ghosh. And Madhubani Goswami will be seen as Shyama Maa in the series.
