Actress Rittika Sen is among the most popular actresses in Tollywood, who acted in various superhit Bengali films like 100% Love, Borbaad, Arshinagar, Jio Pagla, Raja Rani Raji and Villain etc. And now Rittika Sen has bagged a new romantic drama film 'Kothay Tumi' where she will be seen opposite a newcomer hero Taabbu.
About the film and its casting
Directed by Anthony Jane, the romantic drama film 'Kothay Tumi' stars Rittika Sen and Taabbu in lead roles. While Taabbu will play the male lead, Rittika Sen will be seen as his love interest Joyeeta. Apart from these two young stars, 'Kothay Tumi' also stars some prominent and popular artists of the industry like Kharaj Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, and Shantilal Mukherjee in pivotal roles. Singer Ariyoshi Synthia, who became popular for her song 'Toder Jolbe Amar Tatei Cholbe', will also be seen in a key role in this movie.
Speaking about the story of the film, it revolves around Sourav, a clerk by profession. His simple life takes a sudden turn when he fall in love with Joyeeta. 'Kothay Tumi' is a joint venture of Clapboard Entertainment and PPF Entertainment which is based on 'Justice', a 1910 play written by the British writer John Galsworthy.
Singers like Nakash Aziz, Pritam Kumar, Joy Goswami, and Anweshaa have lent their melodious voice to the songs of this film composed by Dev Sen.
