The TV show Gaatchora, which premiered on 20th December 2021, has now completed 600 episodes on TV. It's a moment of celebration for all the cast and crew of Gaatchora as the show has completed 600 episodes while several newly launched shows have completed their journey in just 2-3 months. However, the show is losing its charm and popularity day by day as the leading lady of the show Khori aka Solanki Roy is not seen in the show anymore. Although the show welcomed Sriparna Roy to the show, it failed to make an impression on the audience and the TRP charts as well. One of the Insta-user wrote 'Gourab moy moteo noy.. Gantchora solankimoy chilo.. Khorio ney r gantchora er sei moja o nei..'. Another wrote 'Khori chara cover ta osompurno'.
The story begins focusing upon three middle-class sisters- Khori, Dyuti, and Boni whose fate gets tied with the rich Singharoy Brothers- Riddhiman, Rahul, and Kunal. The story then shows the balance of the newly wedded pairs in their relationship, backgrounding family, love, and responsibilities.
Actress Solanki Roy, who played the female lead Khori opposite Gourab Chatterjee, quit the show as her contract with the channel ended and the actress was not interested in renewing her contract with the channel.
