Actor-Producer Dev is down with a fever

Here's a major update on Dev's upcoming film Pradhan for all Dev fans and those who are eagerly waiting to see Dev and Soumitrisha Kundu's on-screen pairing. The lead actor and co-producer of the film, Dev is down with a fever. Dev took to his social media to share that news with fans.

Dev recently arrived in North Bengal with the entire team to shoot for his upcoming film Pradhan which is expected to release this Christmas. But Dev fell ill on the first day of shooting. Taking to his Instagram story, Dev himself shared the news in a fun way. In the post, Dev wrote ''Pradhan...No more fear.. But on the first day of shoot I'am down with fever''.

Meanwhile, Dev already shared a glimpse of his new look from the film Pradhan which will be directed by Avijit Sen, who earlier directed Tonic and Projapoti. In the film, Dev will play the role of Deepak Pradhan, a police officer. Ever since the announcement of the film, it has created a huge buzz in the industry including fans for its casting which includes Soham Chakraborty, Soumitrisha Kundu, Paran Bandopadhyay, Sabitri Chatterjee, Mamata Shankar, Kanchan Mullick, Ambarish Bhattacharya and Koneenica Banerjee in pivotal roles. Well, the film also marks Soumitrisha Kundu's big screen debut, who became a household name for playing the titular role in the TV show Mithai.

The entire cast except Sabitri Chatterjee is currently in North Bengal. The story will progress in the hilly context. Team 'Pradhan' will be shooting in various places in North Bengal for 19 days. And Sabitri Chatterjee will join the team soon.

However, fans are worried about Dev and the film, after all the lead actor is down with fever. However, it is likely that the director will continue shooting with the rest of the cast of the film till Dev recovers. Nonetheless, once Dev is well, he will join the shooting floor.
