Bengali TV actress Hiya Dey, who was hospitalized for a major surgery, has been discharged from the hospital and taken home. Hiya is slowly recovering. But now she has to live under strict rules. Hiya's doctor advised her to take complete bed rest for at least one and a half month and not to carry heavy things for the next three months.
Hiya Dey, who rose to fame playing the titular role in the show, Potol Kumar Gaanwala, is studying in class eight. However, because of her surgery, she will not be able to attend school for the next three months. Currently, this young actress is spending her time reading books.

As per the report, Hiya Dey had to be hospitalized for a major surgery. One day, Hiya's parents suddenly noticed that Hiya's stomach was swollen. Without wasting a moment, Hiya was taken to the doctor. And all the tests revealed that Hiya had a tumor at the back of her uterus. Hiya's mom said ''a tumor of about 15 cm was found in her daughter's abdomen along with some other cysts.'' However, the young actress is fine now.
Apart from Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Hiya also acted in several popular shows like Falna and Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni. Besides acting, Hiya is also passionate about dancing.
