It was earlier reported that Actress-Politician Sayantika Banerjee to be seen opposite Bangladeshi actor Zayed Khan in a hard-core commercial film produced by a leading production house in Bangladesh. It was known that Tollywood actress Sayantika Banerjee and Zayed Khan have teamed up for Tazu Kamrul's film 'Chhayabaaj'. When Sayantika reached Dhaka, Zayed also went to pick her up at the airport, and the actress also posted that picture on her social media handles. However, the latest reports suggested that Sayantika Banerjee was harassed on the sets of the movie and recently returned to Kolkata.

According to a media report in Bangladesh, the problem started when the dance choreographer Michael held Sayantika's hand on the movie sets. Sayantika Banerjee claims that Michael held her hand without her consent, and she does not like such behavior. When a Bangladeshi media reporter asked Sayantika about this, she said, ''Masterji came to the shooting floor first. But later he left the set due to remuneration. And then a boy named Michael came on set and grabbed my hand without my permission. I am a professional artist; I don't like this kind of behavior.''
Sayantika also said, ''I tried to communicate with the producer Monirul about some technical issues. But he didn't answer me. He has no plan, no system. And it was not systematic at all''.

Well, when the producer Manirul Islam was asked about this incident, he said ''Sayantika Banerjee was shooting for the second song on that day. Sayantika came to me with an allegation that Michael held her hand without her permission. If Michael is not removed from the movie, he will not work on this project. I found out that Michael grabbed her hand professionally for the work. So, I made it clear to Syanthika that she has to work with Michael, otherwise, we don't need her. And then Sayantika left the sets''. According to the producer, disrespecting a Bangladeshi artist without reason will not be tolerated.

Meanwhile, Michael said, "I finished the shooting of the first song and then I held Syanthika's hand to show the dance steps in the second song. Then she told me to explain orally, then I did that. There was no further argument between us.''
Meanwhile, Sayantika's co-star Zayed Khan said ''it's fake news. Sayantika has returned to Kolkata after completing the shooting of the song. And she will come to Bangladesh for the remaining shooting of the film''.
