Actress Sohini Guha Roy, who was last seen in Gangaram serial, has bagged a new show. The Gangaram actress will soon be seen in a brand-new show that will be aired on a leading general entertainment channel. According to the latest report, Sohini Guha Roy will be seen playing the lead role in a new serial where Rajdeep Gupta will be seen opposite her.

A few days ago, we reported that one of the leading entertainment channels, Sun Bangla is coming up with a brand-new show where Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will be seen in the lead roles. Although Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will grace the screen together, their on-screen presence in the series will not feature each other's love interests. And the show will have two lead pairs where Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will be paired with different actors. And now it is known that Sohini Guha Roy has joined the cast of Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy's serial where Rajdeep and Sohini will be seen opposite each other.

It is also known that the show's title is Dwitiyo Basanta. Well, it's the working title of the show and it might be changed later by the makers.

Meanwhile, Sohini Guha Roy recently wrapped up the shoot for the Bengali movie 'Sada Ronger Prithibi', co-starring Srabanti Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, and Rwitobroto Mukherjee among others. Sohini Guha was last seen on screen with Abhishek Bose in the comedy-drama series Gangaram. Apart from the 'Gangaram' serial, she was a part of several drama series like Mayurpankhi and Resham Jhapi.
