Actress Swastika Dutta is among the most popular actresses, who has been a part of several Bengali movies and TV series including a few OTT projects. Swastika was last seen in the TV series 'Tomar Khola Hawa' that aired on a leading entertainment channel. And now, Swastika Dutta has bagged a new web series which will be directed by Abhrajit Sen, who earlier directed Ditipriya Roy's web series Dakghor.

The Dakghor director Abhrajit Sen is coming up with a new web series for Hoichoi platform where Swastika Dutta will be seen playing a key role. The young director Abhrajit Sen will narrate a tale of relationships in his new series 'Somporko' featuring Swastika Dutta in a lead role which is penned by Neel B Mitra.

Despite working in all three mediums – TV screen, silver screen, and OTT, Swastika Dutta gained popularity for mega serials. She became a household name for playing the lead roles in Bhojo Gobindo and Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay. Swastika made her silver screen debut with Raj Chakraborty's film Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey, starring Bonny Sengupta and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. She has also been a part of various Bengali movies like Haripada Bandwala, Abhimaan and, Jete Nahi Dibo etc. Swastika was also appreciated for her performance in Aritra Mukherjee's film Fatafati, in which she played a key role alongside Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee.
