Actress Angana Roy, who has been a part of several Movies and web series including Alo, Homecoming, Shei Je Holud Pakhi, and Tansener Tanpura is likely to pair up with Rohan Bhattacharjee in a new show that will be aired on a leading entertainment channel. Yes, if the sources are to be believed the 'Indubala Bhaater Hotel' actress Angana Roy is going to make her television debut with Rohan Bhattacharjee in the new show, produced by a leading production house in Kolkata.

Going by the latest reports, actor Rohan Bhattacharjee has bagged a new show where Angana Roy will be seen playing the role of his love interest. It is known that one of the leading Bengali general entertainment channels is coming up with a new daily soap featuring Rohan Bhattacharjee and Angana Roy in the lead roles. It is also known that the show will feature Rohan Bhattacharjee as a police officer and Angana Roy as the female lead opposite Rohan.

Both Angana Roy and Rohan Bhattacharjee are very well-known faces among Bengali audiences. Rohan Bhattacharjee became household a name for playing the lead roles in popular daily soaps like Bhojo Gobindo, Koler Bou, and Aparajita Apu. He made his OTT debut with hoichoi series Hostel Days. Rohan Bhattacharjee is also a part of Superstar Dev starrer most anticipated movie Bagha Jatin. In Bagha Janti, Rohan Bhattacharjee plays the role of  Chittapriya Ray Chaudhuri, a Bengali revolutionary and member of the Indian independence movement.

On the other hand, Angana Roy made her mark in the industry with her powerpack performance in web series like Shei Je Holud Pakhi, Tansener Tanpura, Paap, and Mohomaya. Angana started her career with the movie Alo in 2003 which was directed by Tarun Majumdar. After a long break, in 2018 Roy came back on the screen with the web series Shei Je Holud Pakhi. Angana Roy will also be seen opposite Vikram Chatterjee in Tathagata Mukherjee's upcoming film Pariah. Angana Roy was recently seen in hoichoi series Noshtoneer and Kumudini Bhavan.
