Bangladesh-based actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba, who has been a part of several Dhallywood movies and television dramas, is all set to make his Tollywood debut with a new thriller film Chaalchitro. According to the reports, Ziaul Faruq Apurba has joined the cast of Pratim D. Gupta's upcoming thriller film Chaalchitro, produced by Friends Communication.

It was reported that writer-director Pratim D. Gupta, known for ''Tooth Pari: When Love Bites'' ''Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo'' and ''Saheb Bibi Golaam'', is coming up with a thriller 'Chaalchitro' which has an ensemble cast including Tota Roy Chowdhury, Raima Sen, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Swastika Dutta. And now it is known that Bangladeshi actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has recently joined the cast of Chaalchitro and the film marks Apurba's Tollywood debut. 

Well, apart from these powerpack performers, Pratim D. Gupta's Chaalchitro cast also includes Anirban Chakrabarti, Indrajeet Bose, Tanika Basu, Priya Banerjee and Anindita Bose in pivotal roles. 

Speaking about the film, Pratim D. Gupta's Chaalchitro is a suspense thriller genre film that follows several murder mysteries in which Tota Roy Chowdhury plays the role of a police officer named Kanishk Chatterjee, a hard-working man with multiple flaws. The first poster of the film has already been released. And it is known that the film will be shot in Kolkata and its surrounding areas.

Apurba started his career in Gazi Rakayet's drama Boibahik in 2006. He made his debut as a model in Amitabh Reza Chowdhury's directed TV commercial for Nescafe. Apurba had set up a production house named "ASI Creations Limited" and started directing through the telefilm titled Backdated in 2012. He also lent his voice to the title track of Shihab Shaheen’s drama serial Bhalobasar Chotuskone.

Apurba made his film debut with Ashiqur Rahman's film Gangster Returns which was released in 2015. He was also cast in a film Brishti Din, directed by Morshedul Islam, but it was canceled after a few days shooting. And now, Apurba will be seen in Pratim D. Gupta's thriller film Chaalchitro.
