One of the popular Tollywood actresses Ritabhari Chakraborty, who is called Bong Crush by her fans, surprised her fans with her recent social media post, mentioning that she is pregnant. It was as surprising as exciting for the actress fans as we all know that Ritabhari Chakraborty is unmarried, although it was known that she is in a relationship with Tathagata Chatterjee, a psychiatrist by profession.
Thursday (September 20), taking to social media, Ritabhari Chakraborty shared a post where she penned ''Me and My husband Are very happy to announce that i am PREGNANT!!! Need your love and blessings!''

As soon as the post was shared by Ritabhari Chakraborty, fans started questioning her in the comment section. One of her fans wrote ''Bia kobe holo?''. Actress Debchandrima Singha Roy wrote a congratulatory message and sent warm wishes to Ritabhari in the comments section. Another one wrote ''She is not married guys. She is talking about some new project. For sure''
But the question is, is the news true, or there is something different story behind making such post on social media?
Well, the Fatafati actress Ritabhari Chakraborty was supposed to get married to Tathagata Chatterjee at a time. The actress was also informed that she will get married soon. But later a rumor spread that Ritabhari and Tathagata are no longer in the relationship. There were also rumors that Tathagata's family was not happy with their relationship and they are the reason behind Ritabhari and Tathagata's breakup.
However, both Ritabhari Chakraborty and Tathagata Chatterjee opened up on this matter.
Taking to social media, Tathagata Chatterjee shared his views on the rumor about his family. Tathagata wrote ''The news about my family's views on my personal relationship is utterly baseless. I come from a liberal family which provides enough space for each of us and does not believe in interfering in our personal relationships. They have always loved Ritabhari for the person she is. Please leave us alone while we lead our private lives in peace.'' (sic)
Ritabhari Chakraborty also shared the screenshot of Tathagata's post and penned ''To all the editorials please do some research and stop yellow journalism. Have some dignity please. Don’t just write anything for the sake of clicks. The world deserves better so do we. A simple question would gave helped when i have been nothing but kind and welcoming to every journalist friend of mine but no you just want to write speculations as “Facts''. (sic)
Neither Ritabhari nor Tathagata shared any pictures with each other on social media after the incident. Now it's time to see if the message shared by Ritabhari in this post is true or it is a new promotional ploy for her upcoming project.
