Actor Rajdeep Gupta, who was last seen in the supernatural drama series Ponchomi, has bagged yet a new show, co-starring Jesmin Roy in a key role. As per the recent buzz, these two popular TV stars will soon be seen in a new drama series that will air on a leading general entertainment channel.

About Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy's new show

Going by the latest reports, one of the leading entertainment channels, Sun Bangla is coming up with a brand-new show where Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will be seen in the lead roles. Although Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will grace the screen together, their on-screen presence in the series will not feature each other's love interests. Yes, you read that right. The show will have two lead pairs where Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy will be paired with different actors.

The makers have already approached Rajdeep Gupta to play the male lead in the new show and the good news is that Rajdeep has given a green single to the makers for the show even though he is yet to sign. 

Rajdeep Gupta and Jasmine Roy's work front

Rajdeep Gupta made his comeback on TV with 'Ponchomi' where he was seen playing the male lead opposite Susmita Dey. But he left the show weeks before the show ended its journey on TV which also created a controversy among fans and the industry. Although Rajdeep Gupta later clarified that he knew his part in the show would end soon, Yuvraaj Chaudhury's entry into the show in the same role Rajdeep had been playing since the beginning, disappointed fans.

However, If all goes according to plan, Rajdeep Gupta will be seen playing the male lead in Sun Bangla's new show, which also stars Jasmine Roy in a key role.

And talking about Jasmine Roy, she was recently seen playing the role of Tani in Star Jalsha's show Gaatchora. Prior to Gaatchora, Jasmine Roy was seen playing the female lead in 'Amar Sona Chander Kona', co-starring Ravi Shaw as the male lead. She has been a part of several popular shows like Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay, Bhola Maheswar, Bhakter Bhogobaan Shri Krishna, Mayar Badhon, etc.
