Hoicho's social satire drama series 'Sampurna' is all set for its second season with a new story that will highlight some of the major issues of society. In the first season, we saw how 'Sampurna' (Sohini) became a pillar of support for Nandini, who was physically abused by her husband. Sampurna Season 1 addressed a major issue in our society like 'Marital Rape'. And now, director Sayantan Ghosal is coming up with Sampurna Season 2 which starts streaming from 29th September.
In an interaction with ETimes, director Sayantan Ghosal said the new season delves deeper into Sampurna's life and the injustices she faces. The dynamic of the story also changes with the introduction of new characters, but whether they are past, present, or future, the audience will definitely stay to see and find out.
Meanwhile, Sohini Sarkar's first look from Sampurna Season 2 is already out. In the first look, we can see that Sampurna is getting married. Well, apart from Sohini Sarkar, Rajnandini Paul, and Prantik Banerjee will also be seen in the second season as before.
Taking to social media, the makers have shared Sohini Sarkar's looks and announced the release date of Sampurna Season 2.
