Darshana Banik pairs up with Bonny Sengupta in Sayan Basu Chowdhury's film 'Aadai Chaal'

Tollywood actress Darshana Banik is one of the most popular actresses among movie lovers, who has acted in multiple language films. Apart from Bengali movies, she has acted in Telugu and Hindi movies. She has been a part of various popular films like 'Aschhe Abar Shabor' (Bengali), 'Shororipu 2: Jotugriho' (Bengali) 'Aatagallu' (Telugu), and 'Dybbuk' (Hindi). It was also reported that Madhumita, Vikram, and Darshana Started shooting for Shieladitya Moulik's film 'Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi'.

And now, Darshana Banik has bagged a new thriller film where she will be seen opposite Bonny Sengupta. Director Sayan Basu Chowdhury, known for Kichu Na bola Kotha, Megh Bristir Molat, and Horror Stories, is coming up with a new thriller genre film 'Aadai Chaal' featuring Darshana Banik and Bonny Sengupta in the lead roles. 

In the film, Darshana Banik and Bonny Sengupta will be seen as a married couple whose lives take a turn when they meet their old friends on their wedding anniversary and some unpleasant truths are revealed.

Apart from Darshana and Bonny, the film also stars Roshni Tanwi Bhattacharyya, Sukanya Basu, Rishi Raj, and Ananda Choudhury in pivotal roles. 

Talking about the film, director Sayan Basu Chowdhury told Anandabazar Patrika, ''I can't say much about the film now. I can only say that audience will like the story. There are many surprises in the story. I have worked with Darshana before, and I realized that she is a power-packed performer, and Bonny is also a good actor.''
