Today is a special day because on this auspicious day, families gather to worship Goddess Lakshmi, wishing for prosperity and well-being. It is also known as Sharad Purnima which marks the beginning of the Sharad season or the winter season. People traditionally pray to Goddess Lakshmi on this day. Everyone from common people to celebrities celebrates this day and worships Goddess Lakshmi.

The popular actress Aparajita Adhya, who is currently playing the role of Kojagari Basu in 'Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobahsa', also celebrates this auspicious day by worshiping Goddess Lakshmi at home. Fans already know that Aparajita Adhya takes leave from all her work on this day and prepares everything with herself for the rituals of Maa Lakshmi's puja.

On this special day of Kojagari Laxmi Puja, actress Aparajita Adhya shared a series of pictures where she can be seen adorning the idol of Goddess Lakshmi with the exquisite jewelry she had received from a dear friend from Mayapur. Sharing the pics, Aparajita Adhya penned that this year, Maa Lakshmi's exquisite attire and dazzling jewelry were sent by my sister from Mayapur. Interestingly, actress Aparajita Adhya got the chance to play the role of Kojagari which means 'Ko Jagori' ie, who is awake. It is the Purnima (full moon) night of the lunar month Ashwin. It is the most auspicious evening/night to offer a puja to the goddess Lakshmi. 

Prior to this, Aparajita Adhya played the role of Laxmi in 'Lokkhi Kakima Superstar' serial. Well, Aparajita Adhya is one of the senior artists who has been a part of the Bengali entertainment Industry for a long time. Besides playing Kojagari Basu in Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha serial, she is also seen hosting the show, Ghore Ghore Zee Bangla. She is one of the talented actresses who acts equally in films and TV shows.
