Actor Shayan Mukherjee, who has been a part of several drama series including Phirki and Canning Er Minu, has bagged a new role in an ongoing show. Shayan will soon be seen in Sun Bangla's show Roopsagore Moner Manush, starring Rooqma Ray and Debayan Bhattacharya in lead roles. He has already joined the cast and started shooting for upcoming episodes of Roopsagore Moner Manush.

The channel recently shared a new promo of the show, Roopsagore Moner Manush, featuring Shayan Mukherjee as Rooqma Ray's love interest. The promo shows Shayan's character as a fearless vigilante, who springs into action and rescues Poorna from the clutches of a fearsome street gang.

Shayan Mukherjee was last seen on screen opposite Diya Basu in Colors Bangla's show Canning Er Minu which concluded its journey on TV within six months. Shayan Mukherjee started his career as a fashion model and stepped into showbiz by playing a meaty role in Irabotir Chupkotha where his co-stars were Monami Ghosh and Syed Arefin. Later he bagged the male lead in Firki’ where he was seen opposite Sampriti Poddar. After that, he was seen playing a key role in Sun Bangla's show Momepalok.
