Web series Chhotolok, starring Indrani Halder, Ushasie Chakraborty, and Ushasi Ray, is set to premiere on 3rd November

Both Indrani Halder and Ushasie Chakraborty are popular faces among Bengali audiences. By starring in the popular drama Sreemoyee, Indrani Halder and Ushasie Chakraborty have earned huge popularity among Bengali audiences. While Indrani Halder played the titular role, Ushasie Chakraborty played the main antagonist June Sengupta opposite Halder in 'Sreemoye' serial. And now, these familiar stars will be seen together in a thriller drama series titled Chhotolok which will be streaming from this November 3 on a leading OTT platform. 

It was already reported that director Indranil Roychowdhury known for Mayar Jonjal, Phoring, and Ekti Bangali Bhooter Goppo, is coming up with a thriller suspense drama series 'Chhotolok' featuring Indrani Halder and Ushasie Chakraborty in lead roles. However, the moment we've all been waiting for has arrived! The makers have unveiled the official trailer of the series, Chhotolok which is set to premiere on 3rd November 2023, on the ZEE5 app.

The series also marks Indranil Roychowdhury's directional debut on the OTT platform.

Apart from Indrani Halder and Ushasie Chakraborty, the series has a strong cast including Priyanka Sarkar, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Ushasi Ray, Daminee Basu, Pratik Dutta, Jeet Sundor Chakraborty, Loknath Dey, Debesh Chatterjee, and Joydip Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

Talking about Indranil Roy Chowdhury's web series, it is a tale of murder, power, love, and lust that revolves around the mysterious murder of a young girl. Senior actress Indrani Halder, who was earlier seen as a sweet and simple housewife, will be seen playing a grey shade character in this web series where Ushasie Chakraborty will be seen as a chartered accountant.
