Actress Geetashree Roy opens up about the ending of her show Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj

Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj, starring Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha in lead roles is about the end its journey on TV as the brand-new show 'Geeta LLB' replaces the slot. Rumors were rife for the past few days that the newly launched show Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj will end soon. Now, Geetashree Roy, who plays a key role in the show, has confirmed the news. Yes, the newly launched show Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj which premiered in March, will conclude its journey on TV in November 2023.

11th November is the last day of shooting for Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj. According to the latest reports, TV show Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj, starring Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha in lead roles, will end soon due to an insufficient number of TRP ratings. The show premiered on 13th March and the last episode of the show will be broadcast on 19th November 2023. Actress Geetashree Roy who plays the role of Suhasini in the show, has confirmed this news.

Speaking about the ending of Kamala O Sreeman Prithwiraj, actress Geetashree Roy said, ''There was no Saas-Bahu drama in the show. The story was completely different. I played such a role for the first time. And I feel good about this. The most surprising thing is when I meet people, they say the serial is good, but it doesn't reflect in the TRP chart.'' Well, Geetashree didn't forget to mention that at the end of the day, it's all about profit and loss.

Initially, the show performed quite well in terms of TRP ratings but later it continuously lost its appeal among the audience. Apart from Ayanna Chatterjee, Sukrit Saha, and Geetashree Roy, the show featured a number of popular stars from the industry including Kushal Chakraborty, Subhadra Chakraborty, Ananya Guha, and Abhijit Guha in pivotal roles.
