The channel has officially announced that the popular serial Mithai will be re-aired on Zee Bangla.
Mithai Serial relaunching on 13th November
Zee Bangla took to social media to share the news of the relaunching of one of the popular shows Mithai, starring Adrit Roy, and Soumitrisha Kundu in lead roles. According to the report, Mithai will be rebroadcast from November 13 and will be telecast Monday to Sunday at 12:30 PM on Zee Bangla. That means two episodes of 'Mithai' will be shown back-to-back. It is informed by the channel authorities that keeping in mind the popularity of 'Mithai', the serial has been thought to return again on TV.

Actress Soumitrisha Kundu on relaunching of her show Mithai
In a conversation with Hindustan Times Bangla, Soumitrisha Kundu shared her excitement about relaunching her show Mithai. The actress was surprised when asked about this. She said, is Mithai 2 coming? But when Soumitrisha was informed about the relaunch of her show, she was surprised. Sharing her excitement, Soumitrisha said, ''I am happy to hear the news that the series is coming back with the love of the audience. Those who haven't seen it before can enjoy the show now.''
About Mithai Serial
Zee Bangla show Mithai, starring Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy in lead roles, was premiered on 4 January 2021 and the show concluded its journey on TV on 9 June 2023. It is one of the most popular drama series in the Bengali television industry. The show has also been remade in multiple languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Odia.
Speaking about the story of the show, it revolves around protagonist Mithai (played by Soumitrisha) a cheerful, uneducated village sweet seller while Siddharth (played by Adrit), the male lead is a grumpy gentleman who hates sweets.
