Actor Dipankar De, who has been a part of the Bengali entertainment industry for a long time, was taken to the hospital near the bypass on Friday (3rd November) night. He is admitted to ICU. According to the latest reports, Dipankar De suddenly fell ill at home yesterday. So, his wife, actress Dolan Roy, immediately took him to the hospital.
Speaking to TV9 Bangla, Dolan Roy said, "Yesterday Dipankar De suddenly fell and started sweating. I thought it was not right to keep him at home in such a condition. So, I took him to the hospital. All his parameters like blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and BMI were checked at the hospital. Everything is fine now.''
In August 2023, actor Dipankar De lost his daughter Vaishali Kuriakose forever. Vaishali Kuriakose was reportedly suffering from kidney and heart problems. She was admitted to a private hospital near EM Bypass, Kolkata where she breathed her last. Then Dolon Roy, who is also a popular actress in the same industry told ''her husband is mentally broken.''
Dipankar Dey and Dolan Roy were in a live-in relationship for a long time. But finally, Dipankar De got legally married to Dolan Roy in 2020. The age difference between these two is 26 years.
