Senior actress Chumki Chowdhury bags a key role in Dwitiyo Basanta serial

Actress Chumki Chowdhury, who is mostly known for her work in Bengali movies, is to be seen in a new television drama Dwitiyo Basanta that will be aired on a popular general entertainment channel. The channel recently announced the show sharing its promo on social media pages featuring Chumki Chowdhury in a new avatar. The serial also stars Sohini Guha Roy, Jasmine Roy, and Rajdeep Gupta in key roles.

Actress Chumki Chowdhury has been roped in by the makers of 'Dwitiyo Basanta' to play a pivotal role in the show. Where Sohini Guha Roy, Jasmine Roy, and Rajdeep Gupta will be seen playing the lead roles, Chumki Chowdhury will be seen playing the role of Sohini Guha Roy's daughter-in-law in the show. 

Prior to this show, Chumki Chowdhury acted in several Bengali television dramas like Pratidaan and Rangiye Diye Jao. The actress was last seen in Barshali Chatterjee's drama film Kulpi which also starred Payel Sarkar, Rajatava Dutta, Sabitri Chatterjee, and Biswanath Basu. Chowdhury was last seen on TV playing the role of Kalyani in Sandipta Sen and Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh starrer show Pratidaan. Now, Chumki Chowdhury will be seen playing a pivotal role in Sun Bangla's new show Dwitiyo Basanta.
