Shweta Bhattacharya to pair up with Ranojoy Bishnu for an upcoming TV show?

Sohag Jol actress Shweta Bhattacharya is all set to make an entry with a new upcoming show. Actor Ranojoy Bishnu is said to be paired opposite her.

Actress Shweta Bhattacharya is among the most popular and beloved actresses in the Bengali television industry. Shweta was recently seen in debutant director Mir Falaq's web series 'Nandini' wherein she played a pivotal role alongside Ritabhari Chakraborty. On the other hand, Ranojoy Bishnu is currently playing a key role in Krushal Ahuja and Hiba Nawab starrer Hindi television drama Jhanak which premiered on November 20. Now, there is a fresh speculation in the industry that Ranojoy Bishnu might share the screen with Sohag Jol actress Shweta Bhattacharya in an upcoming entertainment show. Shweta Bhattacharya and Ranojoy Bishnu to work together in a new TV serial?

According to a report by Hindustan Times Bangla, Shweta Bhattacharya will be seen playing the female lead in a brand-new television drama series. And Guddi actor Ranojoy Bishnu will be portraying the male lead in the TV serial opposite Shweta Bhattacharya.

The report also states that the promo shoot has already been completed. The upcoming TV serial will tell the story of a cheerful girl from a middle-class family featuring Shweta Bhattacharya as the leading lady. On the other hand, Ranojoy's character in the show is the beloved son of a rich family. The shooting is scheduled to begin this December.

Shweta Bhattacharya was last seen on TV playing the female lead opposite Honey Bafna in Zee Bangla's show Sohag Jol which concluded its journey on TV earlier than expected. Later, she bagged a key role in Addatimes' web series 'Nandini' wherein she played a pivotal role alongside Ritabhari Chakraborty. She has been a part of several hit shows like @Bhalobasha.com, Tumi Robe Nirobe, Jorowar Jhumko, Konok Kakon, Sindoorkhela,'Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki' and Jamuna Dhaki, etc.

As we mentioned above, Ranojoy Bishnu is currently playing a key role in Krushal Ahuja and Hiba Nawab starrer Hindi television drama Jhanak which premiered on November 20. Interestingly, Jhanak serial features many Bengali stars in pivotal roles. Actors like Ankita Chakraborty and Rishi Kaushik are playing pivotal roles in the serial. And the most interesting thing is, Ranojoy Bishnu's former co-star Shyamoupti Mudly is also playing an important role alongside him in the show Jhanak.
