After Dui Prithibi, Barkha Bisht to be seen with Dev in the film Khadaan

Starring Dev in the lead role, the upcoming movie Khadaan has undoubtedly become one of the most awaited Bengali movies of 2024. Directed by Soojit Dutta (Rino), the action entertainer film features Dev and Idhika Paul in lead roles. Over the past few days, there have been some reports doing the rounds on the internet claiming that Jisshu Sengupta and Bonny Sengupta have been approached by the makers of Khadaan to play negative roles in the film. And now, it is known that actress Barkha Bisht, who has been a part of several Bengali and Hindi movies, will be seen playing a pivotal role alongside Dev in the film, Khadaan.

As per the latest reports, actress Barkha Bisht has been roped in by the makers of Khadaan to play an important role alongside Dev in the film. This is the second time Barkha Bisht will be seen with Dev on screen after Raj Chakraborty's Dui Prithibi.

It is known that the film stars Dev in a dual role as father and son. Idhika will be seen with the younger character portrayed by Dev while actress Barkha Bisht will be seen opposite the older character.

Dev has already started working on his film Khadaan. Even, Dev shared pictures from the location in Asansol where he went to determine the shooting spots. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin this March.

Speaking about Barkha Bisht, she has been a part of several Bengali and Hindi movies and web series. Her last Bengali film was Shrimati, directed by Arjunn Dutta. Apart from these, Barkha acted in various Bengali movies like Ami Shubhash Bolchi, Villain, Action, Black, etc. And now, Barkha will be seen with Dev in the film Khadaan.
