After Raktabeej, Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty are teaming up for a new movie; Deets Inside

Two renowned actors of Tollywood, Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty had teamed up last year for Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee's film Raktabeej. The action thriller, starring Abir Chatterjee, Victor Banerjee and Mimi Chakraborty in lead roles, was theatrically released on 19th October 2023 and received a positive response from both audiences and critics. Now there are fresh speculations in the industry that Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty will be seen in a new movie, produced by a leading production house.

Actress Mimi Chakraborty, who recently made her OTT debut with the courtroom drama 'Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo', is rumored to pair up with Raktabeej co-star Abir Chatterjee in a new movie. If sources are to be believed, after Raktabeej, Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty are teaming up for a new movie that will be produced by Surinder Films. It is also known that initially all talks are done. But no one wants to open their mouths about this right now. Even, the director of the film is yet to be finalized by the producers. However, it is also known that this film will not be a family drama. 

Meanwhile, Mimi Chakraborty was recently seen in Hoichoi's thriller series 'Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo' which marked her OTT debut. Apart from Mimi Chakraborty, the courtroom drama also stars Tota Roy Chowdhury, Anujoy Chattopadhyay, Debesh Chattopadhyay, Joydeep Mukherjee, Prantik Banerjee, Anindya Banerjee and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. 

On the other hand, Abir Chatterjee is busy these days with his upcoming thriller Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole which also stars Paran Bandopadhyay, Shruti Das, Goutam Halder, Pratik Dutta, and Loknath Dey in pivotal roles. Directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, the detective thriller is scheduled for a theatrical release on 12th January 2024.
