After the success of his horror suspense drama Parnashavarir Shaap, Chiranjeet Chakraborty is gearing up for his next project which will mark his comeback on the big screen. Yes, you read that right. The actor-director is all set to make a comeback on the silver screen with a thriller film to be directed by Argha Deep Chatterjee.
Filmmaker Argha Deep Chatterjee, known for Jojo (2019), Rhododendron, and Mukhosh (2020), is about to direct a thriller film 'The Loop', starring Chiranjeet Chakraborty in the lead role. Apart from Chiranjeet Chakraborty, the movie also stars Indrani Dutta, Priyanka Sarkar, Ishaan Mazumdar, Barun Chanda, Indrajit Majumdar, Tanaya Mukherjee, Keya Chakraborty and Apratim Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
While Chiranjeet Chakraborty will play the male lead, Indrani Dutta will be seen playing the role of his wife in the movie. On the other hand, Priyanka Sarkar, and Ishaan Majumder will be seen as a tourist couple in the film.
Well, before this film, Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Indrani Dutta shared screen in several movies like Kencho Khunrte Keute and Nishpap Asami, etc. And once again, this blockbuster on-screen Jodi will be seen on the big screen through this thriller film.
Music composer and singer Ranajoy Bhattacharjee will handle the music department of this film. Shooting will start very soon.
Chakraborty's last web series Parnashavarir Shaap is now streaming on hoichoi app which received mixed responses from viewers and critics. Directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay, the series also stars Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Anindita Bose, and Arna Mukhopadhyay in pivotal roles.
