However, it is now known that Jisshu Sengupta has officially joined the cast of Dev's upcoming film 'Khadaan' as the makers have unveiled the first look of Jisshu Sengupta from the film and the rumors have turned into reality.

Directed by Soojit Dutta (Rino) and starring Dev, Jisshu Sengupta, and Idhika Paul in lead roles, 'Khadaan' is financially backed by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films. 

As soon as Jisshu Sengupta's first look from 'Khadaan' was out on social media, fans got a glimpse that left them in awe. Fans also flooded the comment section of the post with kind words. Well, there are also rumors in the industry that Barkha Bisht Sengupta will also be seen in the film 'Khadaan'. It is known that the film stars Dev in a dual role as father and son. Idhika will be seen with the younger character portrayed by Dev while actress Barkha will be seen opposite the older character.

Meanwhile, Dev has already started working on his film Khadaan. Even, Dev shared pictures from the location in Asansol where he went to determine the shooting spots. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin this March.
