Popular TV show 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni' is relaunching on television

In the past few months, entertainment channels have relaunched several old serials on television screens for their new-age audience. Shows like Phagun Bou, Bojhena Se Bojhena, Mithai, Kusum Dola, and Saat Bhai Champa, have recently relaunched on their respective channels and still enjoying a decent viewership despite airing in non-prime time slots. And now, Zee Bangla is about to relaunch one of the most popular shows 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni'. The mythological drama series which starred Ditipriya Roy in the lead role, is relaunching on television on 22nd January 2024.

The TV show 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni', Starring Ditipriya Roy in the lead role, starts again on 22nd January 2024 and will be telecast from Monday to Sunday at 10:00 AM on the screen of Zee Bangla. The channel has officially announced the new telecast time of 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni' on their social media handles.

Talking about the show, 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni', it is one of the most-loved and longest-running television series in Bengali television history. The first episode of the show was premiered on 24 July 2017 and the final episode was aired on 13 February 2022. The series was created Subrata Roy and Samrat Ghosh, and stars Ditipriya Roy as Rani Rashmoni aka "Rani" aka "Rani maa", Gazi Abdun Noor as Babu Raj Chandra Das (Marh) of Janbazar, Sourav Saha as Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Dev, Sandipta Sen as Sarada Devi, Gourab Chatterjee as Mathuramohan Biswas aka "Mathur". 

On July 4, 2021, Rani Rashmoni's character came to an end showcasing her death. The show got revamped into a new season titled "Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni - Uttar Porbo" focusing on the life of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (portrayed by Sourav Saha) - his spiritual journey and marriage with holy mother Sarada Devi (portrayed by Sandipta Sen).

Apart from the actors mentioned above, the series featured many popular actors from the industry like Samata Das, Shyamoupti Mudly, Sayak Chakraborty, Alokananda Guha, Promita Chakraborty, Kanyakumari Mukherjee, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Aditi Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu, Subhrajit Dutta, Anindita Raychaudhury and many more.
