Here is a piece of good news for all the fans of Solanki Roy and those who have been waiting to see her on-screen again. Solanki Roy, one of the popular Bengali beauties who was last seen in Aritra Sen's romantic drama film Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E, will be seen in Debaloy Bhattacharya's upcoming web series. Going by the latest reports, Solanki Roy will be seen playing the female lead in Debaloy Bhattacharya's upcoming women-centric drama series.

Director Debaloy Bhattacharya, whose film Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole is slated for a theatrical release on 12th January 2024, is reportedly gearing up for a women-centric drama series that will have three well-known female faces from the industry. If sources are to be believed, Debaloy Bhattacharya's upcoming web series will feature Solanki Roy as one of three female leads in the series. And the remaining two lead roles will be played by Alivia Sarkar and Riya Ganguly. However, the official announcement has not yet been made.

Well, it doesn't end here. It is also heard that the rest of the casting for the series is yet to be finalized. And the male lead of the series will be played by a popular artist from the industry. Currently, the makers are busy discussing the casting and shooting dates.

Well, Solanki Roy needs no introduction. She is one of the most popular faces in the Bengali entertainment industry and among its audience. The actress became household for playing the lead role opposite Vikram Chatterjee in the daily soap Icche Nodee. Later, she acted in several television series, movies, and web series like Prothoma Kadambini, Gaatchora, Baba Baby O, Dhanbad Blues, Paap, Montu Pilot, Saarey Shaitrish, etc.

On the other hand, Debaloy Bhattacharya's last Bengali web show Indubala Bhaater Hotel, starring Subhashree Ganguly in the lead role, has already been appreciated by both audiences and critics. And now he is gearing up for his upcoming Bengali web series which is likely to feature Solanki Roy, Alivia Sarkar, and Riya Ganguly in lead roles.
