Swastika Mukherjee Starrer film Bijoyar Pore, which was recently screened at 29th Kolkata International Film Festival, is all set for theatrical release on 12th January 2024. Apart from Swastika Mukherjee, the film also stars Mamata Shankar, Deepankar De, Mir Afsar Ali, Bidipta Chakraborty, Rwitobroto Mukherjee and Padmanabha Dasgupta in pivotal roles. 

Directed by debut filmmaker Abhijit SriDas, the film has a heartwarming story of love, family bonds, and reunion during Durga Puja. The film has a dramatic scene where Mizanur tries to influence Mrinmoyee to convert to Islam by pretending to love her and getting married. This is part of a larger plot where Muslims are depicted as engaging in a kind of 'war' against India. Additionally, there's a storyline about an international conspiracy aimed at achieving dominance through demographic growth and replacement.

Taking to her social media handles, Swastika Mukherjee, the lead actress of Bijoyar Pore, has shared the trailer of the film, revealing its theatrical release date in the caption.

Swastika Mukherjee's last Bengali release Nikhoj, is now streaming on Hoichoi app. Directed by Ayan Chakraborti, the crime drama series also features Tota Roy Chowdhury in a pivotal role alongside Swastika. Swastika Mukherjee has recently joined the cast of Srijit Mukherji's upcoming film Tekka, Starring Dev and Rukmini Maitra as lead pair.
