Actress Poushmita Goswami, who plays a pivotal role in the show Mithi Jhora, has recently lost her husband Arnab Roy forever. Poushmita Goswami's husband Arnab Roy, who worked in a leading production house in the same industry, died last Wednesday (January 10) of a heart attack. He worked as an executive producer at Acropoliis Entertainment for a long time. However, Within two days of her husband's death, actress Poushmita Goswami resume shooting for her show Mithi Jhora.

''Our souls are connected. Even though it was not time to leave, he left me. But there is a spiritual connection between us as I said earlier. I know I will see him again'' said Poushmita Goswami in an interview with TV9 Bangla.

'I came back to work because Arnab always wanted me to stay connected with work. We also had a production company. Now, I have to work alone, otherwise he will scold me on the other side'' added Poushmita Goswami.

It is known that Poushmita Goswami and Arnab Roy met each other on the sets of Saanjher Baati, starring Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh and Debchandrima Singha Roy in lead roles, and later they fell in love with each other. Poushmita Goswami and Arnab Roy got married legally in 2021. The following year, in February, the couple traditionally completed their wedding ceremony. 

Poushmita Goswami is currently playing the role of Nandini in the show Mithi Jhora, starring Aratrika Maity, Saptarshi Roy, and Debadrita Basu in lead roles. Apart from this show, she also acted in several popular television dramas like Panchomi, Bagh Bondi Khela, Sreemoyee, Rimli, Ogo Nirupoma, etc.
