Bengali TV serial Sandhyatara, starring Annwesha Hazra, Saurojit Banerjee, and Amrita Debnath in lead roles, is going off-air soon. The show features Annwesha Hazra and Amrita Debnath as the leading ladies of the show where Annwesha bagged the first female lead, Sandhya, Amrita played the second female lead Tara and Saurojit Banerjee portrayed the male lead Akashneel opposite them.
Sandhyatara serial premiered on 12 June 2023 and now the makers have decided to quit the show as it failed to meet the success that the makers had hoped for in terms of TRP ratings. It is also known that the Sandhyatara team including the lead actors have wrapped up the shoot for the show. 26th February was the last day of shooting for the show Sandhyatara and the final episode of the show will be telecast on 2nd March 2024. The new show Badhua replaces its slot.
Meanwhile, Tara aka actress Amrita Debnath has made an Instagram post hinting that the serial is about to end its journey on TV. Taking to her Instagram handle, Amrita Debnath shared her picture from the sets of Sandhyatara and captioned ''Tara signing off from sandha Tara. Abar dekha hobe onno kothao''. (sic)

Produced by Missing Screw, the romantic drama also featured a number of popular actors including Shinjinee Chakraborty, Koushik Das, Biswajit Chakraborty, Moumita Chakraborty, Chaitali Chakraborty, Kanyakumari Mukherjee and many others.
