The official trailer of upcoming Bengali film Ahalya has been released. The Abhimanyu Mukherjee's directional stars Bonny Sengupta, Priyanka Sarkar, and Payel Sarkar in lead roles. Recently, the makers of the film released the official trailer of Ahalya on YouTube, sharing some interesting glimpses from the film.
Ahalya is a horror thriller that revolves around Indra, a gym instructor played by Bonny Sengupta. In the film, Bonny’s character lives alone in an apartment and gradually experiences paranormal activity. After investigating the matter, he finds some interesting deets behind the unnatural activities.
The Ahalya trailer begins by showing a little girl named Rini, who meets her neighbor Indra at night, upset by her parents' arguments. As the trailer progresses, we see Rini find solace in the calmness of her neighbor Indra and visit Indra every night when her parents fight.
The trailer also features Priyanka Sarkar and Payel Sarkar where Priyanka seems to be Bonny's love interest and Payel is likely to play Bonny's wife. But things take a sudden turn when Indra finds that all the people he sees don't even exist in the world. What happens next is the crux of the story.

Apart from Bonny Sengupta, Priyanka Sarkar, and Payel Sarkar, the film also stars Biswanath Basu, Prabir Dutta, Shyamal Dutta, Amrito, Aliva Bhattacharya and Ritasmita Sinha in pivotal roles. Directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, the horror thriller is set to release on 23rd February 2024.
