Koushani Mukherjee is among the most renowned actresses of Tollywood. The charming actress was last seen in Raj Chakraborty's debut series Abar Proloy wherein she played Moni which received a positive response from both audiences and critics. And now, Koushani has reportedly bagged a new Bangladeshi movie titled 'Dark World' for which he reached Bangladesh last Wednesday.
According to the reports, the shooting of the film will start from this Thursday. Koushani Mukherjee will be the leading lady opposite actor-producer Munna Khan in the film 'Dark World'.
Well, it is known that Bangladeshi actress Mahiya Mahi was the first choice of the makers of 'Dark World' for the role played by Koushani Mukherjee. The makers had also started shooting with Mahiya Mahi for the film. But after a day of shooting, the Mahiya expressed her reluctance to work opposite Munna. According to reports, Mahi walked out of the film due to a statement by Munna Khan. Later they approached Parimoni for the role. However, Parimoni refused to do the film, so the makers reached out to Koushani Mukherjee for the film.
Koushani Mukherjee's last film Daal Baati Churma Chochhori, co-starring Bonny Sengupta, was released on 17th February 2023.
