Popular Bengali TV actress Tiyasha Lepcha, who was last seen playing the lead role in Bangla Medium, has bagged a new role on the mythological show Ramprasad, starring Sabyasachi Chowdhury in lead role. The popular actress who is mostly seen playing lead roles on TV, has bagged a supporting yet important role for the first time.

Tiyasha Lepcha has been roped in by the makers of Ramprasad to play the role of Rani Bhavani in the show. Well, it is known that Tiyasha's character in the show is a cameo role, and she will not be seen for a long time. But why did the actress who always played the role of the heroine in her show take such a cameo role?

However, when Tiyasha Lepcha was asked about playing a cameo role in Ramprasad, she said ''I initially didn't agree to do the role because it is a cameo role. I will be seen here for a few days. That's why I didn't agree before''. But later she explained why she said yes to the makers for the role.

''Actually, I didn't understand the importance of the character at first. Later, when I understood that it was the character of a queen, I agreed. I always wanted to dress up like a queen and play a role like that. So, I agreed'' said Tiyasha Lepcha.

Tiyasha Lepcha is also known as Tiyasha Roy. She made her foray into showbiz with Krishnakoli where she starred opposite Neel Bhattacharya. Later, she got her second lead role in the show Bangla Medium where she paired again with Krishnakoli co-star Neel Bhattacharya. The final episode of Bangla Medium was aired on 2nd November 2023.
