Actress Aishi Bhattacharya joins the cast of Zee Bangla's new show Ashtami

Aishi Bhattacharya is one of the well-known actresses in the Bengali entertainment world. She was last seen playing the role of Gini in Titiksha Das and Mainak Banerjee-starter show Icche Putul which concluded its journey on 9th March 2024. And now it has been revealed that Aishi Bhattacharya has bagged a new role in the new show Ashtami, starring Ritobrota Dey and Saptarshi Maulik as the lead pair.

Actress Aishi Bhattacharya has been locked to play a key role opposite Ritobrota Dey and Saptarshi Maulik in the new show Ashtami which will air on Zee Bangla. Interestingly, the show also marks Aishi Bhattacharya and Saptarshi Maulik's third show together. Before this show, Aishi Bhattacharya shared the screen with Saptarshi Maulik in their previous shows Ekka Dokka and Sreemoyee. 

And once again, Aishi Bhattacharya will share the screen with Saptarshi Maulik in the new show Ashtami, featuring Ritobrota Dey as the female lead. Recently, the channel released a new promo for the show Ashtami featuring Aishi among others on its official social media handles.

Apart from Ritobrota Dey, Saptarshi Maulik, and Aishi Bhattacharya, the show will have many popular and powerpack performers from the industry including Kaushik Chakraborty, Shinjinee Chakraborty, Prriyam Chakraborty and Sayantaan Shaan Sarkar in pivotal roles.

Speaking about Aishi Bhattacharya, she became a household name for playing Indrani Haldar's reel daughter Dithi in the superhit television drama Sreemoyee which also starred Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sudip Mukherjee, Ushasie Chakraborty and Saptarshi Maulik. Later, Aishi was seen playing various supporting characters in several shows like Ekka Dokka, Icche Putul, and Mon Phagun.
