Popular Bengali TV star Rupanjana Mitra, who is playing Labanya in Anurager Chhowa is getting married to her long-time boyfriend Ratool Mukherjee soon. The couple exchanged rings and got engaged in front of a hill church in Darjeeling in February 2023. Rupanjana's son Rian was also there. And now the actress has decided to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ratool Mukherjee.

Regarding her marriage with Ratool Mukherjee, Rupanjana told Anandabazar Patrika that she has taken this decision for Rian. ''Rian's opinion is very important to both of us. Me, Rian and Ratool are good friends. We live together'' said Rupanjana. The actress believes that understanding this modern relationship is important. Ratool and Rian call each other 'Champ'. By the way, Rupanjana has not revealed the wedding date yet. However, she said that she will get married soon following Bengali wedding rituals.

For the unaware, Rupanjana and Ratool have been dating each other for a long time. Rupanjana is about 6 years older than her boyfriend Ratool. Ratool Mukherjee is also a well-known face in the same industry. Ratool Mukherjee made his directional debut with Palok where Saswata Chatterjee played the key role alongside Rupanjana Mitra. Ratool Mukherjee was also a part of Bagh Bandi Khela television drama. 

Rupanjana Mitra married Rezaul Haque in 2007 and gave birth to a son a few years later. She officially separated from her husband in 2018 and started living with her only son Rian.
