The actor's death occurred at 11.50 pm on March 22, according to a press statement from Artists Forum. Members of the Artists Forum have expressed grief over the untimely death of the actor. The statement further said that the body of the actor will be kept at the technician's studio at noon. His loved ones, teammates, and fans can come to the studio to pay their last respects.

It is known that Parthasarathi Deb was suffering from various physical problems for a long time. He was suffering from COPD. Celebs like Joyjit Banerjee and Rupanjana Mitra have expressed grief over the untimely death of the actor, making a post on their social media handles.
