Starring Jeet and Rukmini Maitra in lead roles, one of the most anticipated Bengali movies Boomerang has been postponed from its scheduled release date of May 10. Directed by Sauvik Kundu, the science fiction drama film, will not be hitting screens this May due to the election in the state. Jeet and Rukmini Maitra-starrer film Boomerang is now set to hit the cinema halls on 7th June 2024.
Jeet, the lead actor and producer of Boomerang has officially shared the news on his social media handles. Taking to his Instagram handle, Jeet announced the new release date for Boomerang.

Apart from Jeet and Rukmini Maitra, the film also stars Saurav Das, Kharaj Mukherjee, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and Debchandrima Singha Roy in pivotal roles. Interestingly, the film also marks Jeet and Rukmini Maitra's first film together.
Apart from being a science fiction drama film, the movie has more surprises for movie lovers. Jeet introduces a futuristic superbike in his film 'Boomerang' as the film has a lot of bike chase action sequences.
Movie buffs, who mostly watch action movies, already know that bikes and bikers are filmmakers' first and last choice when it comes to chase scenes. They perform various stunts to take the scenes to the next level.
