Madhumita Sarcar joins Soham Chakraborty and Pori Moni in the upcoming thriller movie Felubakshi

Actress Madhumita Sarcar has reportedly joined the cast of Debraj Sinha's thriller movie Felubakshi, starring Soham Chakraborty and Pori Moni as the lead pair.

A few days ago, we reported that Tollywood actor-producer Soham Chakraborty and Bangladesh-based actress Pori Moni have teamed up for Debraj Sinha's thriller movie Felubakshi. And now it has been revealed that Madhumita Sarcar, one of the most popular actresses in Tollywood, will also play a pivotal role opposite Soham Chakraborty and Pori Moni in the film.

Actress Pari Moni, a long-time Dhallywood partner, is going to make her Tollwood debut with Soham Chakraborty in Felubakshi. Talking about working in Tollywood, this Bangladeshi actress said, ''I have always wanted to work in Kolkata films. I expressed my desire to work in Tollywood at an award show in Kolkata. Since then Tollywood filmmakers have approached me for several movies. So I thought let's start with Felubakshi''.

Apart from Debraj Sinha's movie Felubakshi, Madhumita Sarcar has various interesting movies in her kitty. She already wrapped up the shoot for Shieladitya Moulik's romantic adventure drama movie Ke Prothom Kacche Eshechi which stars Vikram Chatterjee and Darshana Banik opposite her. The movie Ke Prothom Kacche Eshechi also marks Madhumita Sarcar and Vikram Chatterjee's second collaboration after 'Kuler Achaar''.

On the other hand, Madhumita Sarcar has bagged a pivotal role in Najarbandi, a film based on cyber-crime. Apart from Madhumita, the movie also features Rituparna Sengupta, Rajnandini Paul, Anindita Bose, and others in the lead roles. Speaking about the movie Najarbandi, Madhumita told media, ''Debarati Bhowmick, our director, felt I would do justice to my role as she feels I get transformed once I enter the shooting floor. I feel very grateful for the fact she felt this way about me. I am excited to play this challenging role and see myself in a new form''.
